kkOur Publishing House, Hibernia Nova Ltd. was established in 2001. We are producing and publishing not only guidebooks, which are more detailed, spectacular and contain more information than usual, but different kinds of maps and atlases as well.

kkBesides the very detailed, punctual descriptons and the up-to-date information our guidebooks contain 20-40 maps and 3-400 colour photos of excellent quality, which help the orientation of travellers considerably, and at the same time make our publication more colourful and readable.

kkThe first volume - The Magic Istria - of our series Magic landscapes - the Croatian coast has won the award of the Istrian Ministry of Tourism for our first volume of this series - The Magic Istria - as the best foreign guidebook. This honour has inspired us to further intensive work, we have gradually produced totally five volumes about this area. (The Magic Istria, Kvarner-bay and North Dalmatia, Middle part of Dalmatia, South part of Dalmatia, The Croatian Adria ).

kkWe have started cooperating with foreign partners to publish these books about the Adriatic coast in other languages (e. g. in Czech, Croatian etc.)

kkThe shorter, less detailed version of these books has been published in a series called Let us travel together! To make our whole Croatian series complete we have made the Atlas of the Croatian coast, with unique form, lots of colour photos, very detailed city-maps and city-descriptions.

kWithin the series Magic landscapes the Bulgaria and the very unique and authentic Albania guidebooks have been issued as well.

kkOur Baltic states guide was first published in a cooperation with Nelles, a German publishing house, but later we have issued our own publication completed with such close and important cities like Saint Petersburg and Helsinki. We are very proud to have a very detailed and meaty Estonia guidebook as well.

kkOur most successful „Along the beer” series guides the traveller among the sights of the city or the country in a very special way – visiting all important pubs and breweries in the first place in Prague and the Czech Republic, in Vienna and Budapest too.

kkThe Moscow and Saint Petersburg guidebook is a unique one as well, as the last guidebook written in Hungarian by a Hungarian author about these cities has ben issued in Hungary in the beginning of the eighties.

kkThe most important educational, popular work of our publishing house is the extremly attractive Big Illustrated Geographical World Atlas, with 500 colour photos. It is necessary to underline, that we refresh the data of this publication every year.

Our next guidebooks Slovenia and Switzerland are under preparation, they will come out soon.
